The Mediterranean restaurant in Cala Torret

The fourth establishment from Group Ses Forquilles opens in Cala Torret, in the heart of Binibequer. Located right at the water’s front, it offers a straightforward proposition: seafood cuisine on the front line of the sea. The name says it all—Caladeru (fishing ground), the place where fishermen cast their nets. Here, the “catch of the day” isn’t a marketing concept; it is the authentic origin of everything on the plate.

True to the group’s spirit, Caladeru champions local produce, seasonality, and culinary honesty. No high ambitions, just expertise.

THE CUISINE

The cuisine at Caladeru orbits the Menorcan sea. Fresh, KM 0 products take center stage—from grilled Menorcan red prawns to market fish selected based on the day’s catch.
The rice dishes—a direct legacy of El Rais—are another central pillar of the menu. Whether prepared with market fish, Menorcan prawns, or lobster, they are made to order for sharing, executed with the precision that only comes from years of mastery.
The land also has its place.

Dry-aged beef, available as loin or ribeye, caters to those who prefer to step away from the sea without compromising on quality. It is a concise, market-driven menu that evolves with the seasons.

At Caladeru, we uphold the same philosophy as the rest of the group’s restaurants: professionalism, attentiveness, and expertise. In practice, this means a team that truly knows the menu, understands when to engage and when to provide space, and recognizes that a perfect meal depends on far more than just what leaves the kitchen.

Raquel, the group’s sommelier, has curated a wine list designed for the setting—light, mineral, and Mediterranean in character—alongside a selection of dessert wines to round off the afternoon.

THE SPACE

The terrace over the sea.

There are restaurants with sea views, and then there is Caladeru. The terrace opens directly over the cove, with nothing standing between your table and the water. Binibequer, one of Menorca’s most singular locations, provides the frame; the Mediterranean provides the permanent backdrop.
